Bob Paisley’s team includes the legends Kevin Keegan, John Toshack, Ian Callaghan, Steve Heighway, Crazy Horse – Emlyn Hughes. Stoke team includes the stalwarts, Mahoney, Hudson, Conroy, Hurst and Greenhoff.

The footage includes the original BBC commentary by the legendary Barry Davies. Goals came from Kevin Keegan and Steve Heighway.

Championship strugglers Reading forced Liverpool to a 1 – 1 draw.

Reading took the lead after 24 mnutes with Church scoring the opening goal. Steven Gerrard hit home an equaliser after 36 minutes.

Rafael Benitez said:
“They were pushing and working very hard from the beginning until the end so we had to do our job. ”
It was a difficult game and the most positive thing is that we will play another game at Anfield. We know that we have two clear chances to win trophies – the Europa League and the FA Cup – so we will try our best in both and keep improving in the league.”
