FA Cup Final 1986 – Liverpool Vs Everton [DVD]
This was the first ever Merseyside FA Cup final. Standing on the threshold of a historic League and Cup double, Liverpool arrived at Wembley knowing that victory over their arch rivals in the first all Merseyside FA Cup Final would etch their famous name into the record books.
Under the inspirational guidance of player-manager Kenny Dalglish, the Reds had already overcome their neighbours to capture their sixteenth championship crown a week earlier at Stamford Bridge and now only 90 minutes separated them from greatness.
Everton took the lead through Gary Lineker after 27 minutes, but a second-half fight-back by Liverpool through goals by Rush (2) and Johnston clinched the cup and the double for Liverpool.

Whilst the 1988-89 FA Cup will always be remembered for the tragic events that unfolded at Hillsborough, for the Final itself the script couldn’t have been written any better, as Liverpool faced their arch rivals Everton in an emotionally charged and highly evocative Wembley final.
Liverpool started brightly, and were ahead after only four minutes, when John Aldridge hit the back from within inches to the penalty spot where he had missed in the previous year’s Final, but this time there was no denying him a Cup Final goal, and it was a goal that appeared to clinch victory after 85 more minutes of enduring football in the sweltering May sunshine failed to produce another goal.
But just as the ribbons were being fastened, Everton’s substitute Stuart McCall popped up at the back post to force extra time. The Blue’s resurgent with their late goal started brightly, but it was Liverpool’s own substitute Ian Rush who proved to the hero of the hour, as he first swivelled and fired an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net, and then after McCall had once again equalised he steered an unstoppable header that was as deft as decisive to make it 3-2 with the second half of extra time still remaining.
Liverpool finally conquered Everton by three goals to two in a classic and thrilling match. Now relive this incredible match over again in this specially produced programme, featuring the full uninterrupted 90 minutes and post match reaction as it happened.

Liverpool v Sunderland 1992 FA Cup Final [DVD]:
Reaching their fourth final in seven years, the Reds headed for Wembley eager for Cup success. Finishing the season in sixth, it was remarkably the Club’s lowest position for 27 years, but in Graeme Souness’ first full season in charge, the faithful Kop were not too despondent at the prospect of the FA Cup heading back to Anfield.
Facing second division Sunderland, who had upset the form books in 1973 when they toppled Don Revie’s Leeds United, Liverpool were odds on favourites to clinch the cup for a fantastic fifth time. But a testing first half lay ahead and the scoreline remained deadlocked as the half-time whistle sounded.
Shortly after second half-commenced, Michael Thomas who ruined Liverpool’s Title Hopes in 1989 popped up with great first-time volley to put Liverpool ahead and from there never looked back as Ian Rush steered Liverpool to victory.
It was the season that marked the Club’s return to European football for the first time since 1985, and it was business as usual as another piece of silverware headed for the Anfield trophy cabinet. Now relive the full uninterrupted ninety minutes all over again on this specially produced DVD.

FA Cup Final 1974 – Liverpool vs Newcastle Utd
It was the end of the Bill Shankly era and this great souvenir DVD, “Liverpool Vs Newcastle United FA Cup Final 1974″ is the full story of that historic day.
Still bearing the scars of the 1971 FA Cup Final defeat and facing a Newcastle United team that had never lost a final, the Liverpool team knew that they had to be at their very best for the showdown at Wembley in 1974. The Merseysiders did not disappoint their legions of fans.
Despite a relatively unimpressive league campaign, Liverpool went into the 1974 FA Cup Final as favourites to lift the trophy. With 8 players remaining from the vanquished 1971 team, the club had consistency on their side; in Kevin Keegan they had a new match-winner amidst their ranks. The first half was a cagey affair with both sides keen not to concede, but the second period was a different story entirely. It was a lesson in total football as Liverpool passed its way around the Geordies, scoring three times, thanks to two goals from future England Manager Kevin Keegan and another from Steve Heighway. The day will long be remembered for the enduring image of Bill Shankly holding the red scarf above his head, celebrating the triumph.
This is a must-have DVD for Liverpool fans around the globe. Re-live the whole game again and again and enjoy the post-match jubilation and interviews with Shankly and the players.

FA Cup Final 2006 – Liverpool Vs West Ham (‘The Gerrard Final’)
Having seen their share of comebacks, that Liverpool spirit was called upon again in the 2006 FA Cup Final as West Ham raced to a 2-0 lead.
It was the Captain that inspired the team again, as Gerrards’ superb cross found Cisse – Liverpool were back in the game! The Reds continued to look for the equaliser and found it as Gerrard pounced on a Crouch assist to level it. The drama continued as Konchesky delivered a hopeful cross that looped in to restore the opposition’s lead, but entering injury time Gerrard rocketed home one of the best Cup Final goals ever scored, taking the game to Extra Time.
Inevitably the match went to dreaded penalties, but with Reina in goal and memories of Istanbul flooding back, Liverpool looked the most confident. Strikes from Hamman, Gerrard and Riise saw the Cup return to Anfield! A modern day classic.
