Liverpool Chairman reveals details of club’s sale
Liverpool FC chairman Martin Broughton confirms the club will be auctioned off during the summer. He expects a sale to go through before the end of the transfer window with current American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks leaving the club as soon as sale confirmed. LFC do not have a fixed sale price and will be sold to the highest bidder or someone who can take the club forward and build the much needed new stadium.
