Liverpool FC in record sponsorship deal with bank

LIVERPOOL Football Club and Standard Chartered Bank have announced a four year deal for the bank to become the club’s main sponsor. In a deal believed to be worth £80m it is the largest commercial agreement in Liverpool’s history and will see the bank’s name and logo on Liverpool shirts from July 2010.

More better sponsorships the better. Can’t wait to see what the naming rights to the new stadium will bring.

This is a very good thing for our football club. I’m very excited about a fresh new start (financially) for Liverpool and hopefully can bring in players like, Van der Vaart and Sergio Ramos.

yo. i just read the yanks have told rafa to make a list of the players he wants and dey WILL help him buy whats best for the club. but they said that this transfer market last jan, the jan before the transfer market before. they will never pay up the assholes

I hope they dont get it wrong.. i worship Liverpool for their cultural attributes not monetary value.

The history and the moments LFC has given through rain and storm worth more than money. i hope it wont become a corporation…!
