    The parish was the birthplace of the Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Football Club which was established in 1878 and later become the world famous Manchester United. It began life as a football team formed by Frederick Attock, a Liverpudlian who was a superintendent engineer of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway(L&YR).

  9. Clearly not a dive by Gerrard. Look at 3:47, he is in a perfect position to score and the ball couldn’t be better placed. In fact even I could tap that in. So why the f*ck would one of the best players in the World dive there. Morons who think that know nothing about football.

    You can complain Gerrard dived all you want. doesn’t change the fact that Liverpool won it! and that it was one of the best matches in the history of the champions league so suck on that!

  13. i think shevchenko wanted to miss the penalty..look how patient he is..and how fast he kicks the ball..he looks at the referee and it’s like saying to him cmon whissle i’m pissed off..and how confident he goes and kicks the penalty.. anyway this was the best match i’ve ever seen!!

    its funny that this video shows many angles of the goals, but doesnt show many angles of gerrard going down in the box because it was a complete dive. cheated your way to a CL victory, congratulations liverpool supporters.
