Emlyn Hughes Tribute Video

Emlyn Hughes, OBE (28 August 1947 – 9 November 2004). Great video tribute to the former Liverpool captain and legend.

Emlyn Hughes signed for Liverpool in February 1967 for £65,000. Manager Bill Shankly was stopped in his car by the police as he drove Hughes to Liverpool for the first time and said: “Don’t you know who’s in this car? The future captain of England!”
